AP Biology Lab No. 5: Photosynthesis

Description

Students will learn the necessary components and conditions for photosynthesisto occur while using leaf disks to measure the accumulation of oxygen and relateit to the rate of photosynthesis. Students will then use guided inquiry to designand conduct an experiment to examine the effects of a chosen variable on the rateof photosynthesis. Teachers manual and Student Study Guide copymasters areincluded. There are enough materials provided for 8 lab groups. This lab meets APScience Practices 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7, and Big Idea 2.

• 50g Sodium Bicarbonate
